Sebastian Schipper is a German actor and director, residing in Berlin.

After studying acting in Munich at the Otto Falkenberg schule from 1992 to 1995, he starred in numerous roles such as Little Sharks (1992), The English Patient (1996), England! (2000) and Nightsongs (2004). He debuted as a director with his film Absolute Giganten in 1999 which was co-produced with Tyler Twyker who has casted him in many of his films. Schipper was highly recognised for his 4th feature film Victoria, a continuous one-shot which follows a Spanish girl’s eventful night out in Berlin. The film played at the 65th Berlinale International Film festival and won 6 awards at the German Film Awards 2015 including Best film and Best director.

His most recent feature film, Roads (2019) follows a story about a coincidental friendship between two young men and their journey across Europe in a stolen mobile home, encountering poverty and refugees along the way. Sebastian has also worked with many clients such as Opel, Sparkasse and Ikea. His background in acting and many years of experience allows him to connect to his cast and bring authentic and enticing performances to the screen.
